2007 Kids' Day Event

This year we are again looking forward to a day of fun and learning at the annual Kids' Day event. The day is one intended to give kids the opportunity to enjoy a variety of fun and educational outdoor activities. The date for this year's event is September 15, 2007. 

Last year Kids' Day was held on September 16, 2006.  Activities included learning about hunting and fishing safety, wildlife preservation, laws associated with hunting and fishing, fire engine and rescue squad vehicles, decoy painting, and the ever popular big dirt mover.

Every child won a prize of some kind and a "Hunt of a Lifetime," which included an deer hunt in the western part of NC and a hunting rifle, was given away as well. 

Kids' Day is an annual event sponsored by the Guild for children from 6 to 15.
