This year marks the Twenty-Second Annual Core Sound Decoy Festival and our 2008 poster competition was won by Kelley
Nelson. The poster is currently at the printer and will be available here soon.
The featured carver for 2008 is Houston Lewis of Harkers Island, NC, and the decoy is a drake Cinnamon
Teal.
Plans are well underway for this year's Festival. Please make your plans now to join the Decoy Carvers Guild at the
Harkers Island Elementary School and the H. Curt Salter Guild Building on Harkers Island Road for this year's Core Sound
Decoy Festival and keep checking back here as additional details are added as the "first full weekend in December" grows
closer.
